Selection Box Plus

Create a 3D section box around an element picked from a linked model. Keep this window open and continue interacting with Revit-pan/zoom, change views, or pick another element-then run it again as needed.

  1. Select from Link. Click Select from Link and pick an element in a Revit link. The tool sets the active view's section box to the picked element's extents (with a small buffer).
  2. Review and repeat. Adjust the view as needed. Click Select from Link again to isolate a different element.

Notes: Only the host view's section box is changed-linked files are not modified. To return to the full model, disable the Section Box parameter in the view's properties.
