Change Text Case

Convert selected text notes to Sentence case, lower case, UPPER CASE, or Title Case, and optionally trim leading/trailing/multiple spaces. Keep this window open and continue interacting with Revit while the tool is active-select/deselect text notes, pan/zoom, or undo-then run another transformation.

  1. Select text in Revit. You can preselect text notes before opening the tool or change your selection at any time while it is open.
  2. Pick a method. Choose one of:
    • Sentence case - capitalizes the first letter of sentences; lowers the rest.
    • lower case - makes all characters lowercase.
    • UPPER CASE - makes all characters uppercase.
    • Title Case - capitalizes words based on title casing rules.
    • Trim Spaces - removes leading/trailing spaces and condenses multiple spaces to a single space.
  3. Apply and repeat. Run the chosen method on the current selection. Use Revit Undo to revert the last change and rerun with a different method if needed.

Notes: Only text content is changed; formatting (font, size, alignment) is preserved.
