Visualizer
Clear Overrides
Clear graphic overrides on all elements in the active graphical view.
When to use it
Use this after Isolate Warnings or Parameter Values, or whenever a view is still showing leftover color overrides from an audit.
Why it exists
Temporary colors are useful while you fix the model and dangerous if they go out on a sheet. This command resets the active view in one click.
How to use it
-
Make a graphical view active
Open a plan, section, 3D, or other graphical view. Project Browser selection is ignored.
-
Click Clear Overrides
On the ✚ Annon App tab, click Clear Overrides. There is no dialog - it runs on the active view immediately.
-
Confirm the view looks standard
Element colors and overrides from the visualizer tools (and manual overrides on those elements) should be gone.
Keep in mind
- This is immediate. Use Revit Undo if you still needed a manual override in that view.
- It does not change view templates; it clears element graphic overrides in the active view.
