Viewport Placement

Align viewports across sheets by pairing target views with a source view. Create pairs by dragging, choose alignment options, then align all at once.

  1. Search. Use the search box to filter views by name.
  2. Create alignment pairs.
    • Left panel (Source Sheets): pick the view that defines the position on its sheet.
    • Right panel (Target Sheets): drag one or more views and drop them onto a source view to pair them.
    • The Pairs column shows how many targets are paired with each source.
  3. Viewport Placement: two lists for Source Sheets and Target Sheets with draggable views, a search box, options for Hide paired targets, Match View (Crop/Scope Box), Match Viewport Type, and an Align Viewports button
  4. Options.
    • Hide paired targets: removes already-paired target views from the right panel to reduce clutter.
    • Match View (Crop/Scope Box): also copy the source's crop/Scope Box to the target views.
    • Match Viewport Type: set target viewports to the same viewport type as the source.
  5. Align. Click Align Viewports to place all paired target viewports to the exact position of their source's viewport.
